RC is short for the Resource Compiler, a program used by CryBlend to convert Blender data into CryEngine asset files.

* What is the Texture RC?
The texture RC is an optional feature provided by CryBlend to have another RC version be used for texture conversion. This can be desirable as different RC versions provide different texture conversion capabilities. Newer RC versions do not always support deflate compression in TIFF images. Using the Find Texture RC option, however, allows you to hook up an older RC which does. This RC will only be used for texture conversion though; the main RC will be used for everything else.
