Basic AnimationAnimated geometry is represented by the CGA (Crytek Geometry Animation) extension in CryEngine.
* Additional Information:
CryBlend takes care of the animation naming convention for you:
If your object has a CGA node, then your animation will be named CGANodeName_ANMNodeName.anm. If your object does not have a CGA node, then your animation will be named ObjectName_ANMNodeName.anm. Secondly, you must make sure that your ANM file is placed in the same folder as your CGA file. Note: By default, each CGA file can store one animation called Default (in CryEngine). Additional animations are stored in ANM files. In CryBlend, however, CGA files only store the base geometry (no animation). Thus, all animations must be exported as ANM files, including the Default animation. |
